How It All Began…
2015
Cody recognizes opportunity
- Cody is inspired into entrepreneurship by his successful franchise-owning dad.
- Buys his first water truck in November…
- …then gets his class 1 driver’s license
- …and buys out another local water delivery company.
2016-2017
Growing the team
- Builds a new 4,000 sq ft shop for the fleet
- Makes first hire, Pierce (still on the team today!). And after years of 18 hour days, the extra help is a huge relief.
- Starts a Facebook page so customers can see what we were up to (you can follow us here).
- Buys out his mentor’s water truck business, which adds a third truck to the armada.
2018-
2020
Keep on growing…
- Cody becomes a Dad for the first time!
- What could be more scary than a newborn? How about buying a brand new Western Star fully loaded water truck. Strong equipment to meet increasing demand makes the job a lot more fun.
- Adds Genesee power plant, PCL, and Capital Power to the client roster.
- Hit 1,000,000 km after 3 years on the road
2024
Finding our stride
- Hired a part-time mechanic.
- Replaced the oldest truck with another new one.
- 3 full-time drivers plus Cody jumping in as needed, every week is a busy one.
2025
A decade in business
- West Imperial Water Hauling celebrates 10 years in business in November!
- Celebrates 3rd year of donating ice to a community rink.
- Rolling toward 3,000,000 km–proof we go the distance.
- Long term plans for vertical expansion include a new head office and exciting partnerships (tba!).

Cody
Family-first and fuelled by fresh air, Cody’s an entrepreneur at heart. He’s passionate about building connections–whether that’s in business or around a campfire. Need water delivered? He’s got you covered. Need a good hunting spot? He might be persuaded to share that too.
Brittany
Brittany is the heroine that keeps both family and business running smoothly. A founding member of Misfits of Alberta Animal Rescue and competitive horsewoman, her priorities are simple: kids, horses, and keeping the business flowing.
Pierce
Pierce is a born-and-raised Parkland County local, known for his straight-up attitude and creative talent in glass blowing and tattooing. He’s the guy who says it like it is—always respectful, always solid. And yes, he’s the one doodling on timesheets between deliveries.
Jack
Dad to three wild boys means he’s already a pro at managing chaos–just not the kind that involves water trucks. He ran his own trucks in the oilfields before joining West Imperial. A fast car and tech enthusiast, he’s always tinkering–whether it’s with his 3D printer or finding smarter ways to
monitor tanks.
Joe
After 40 years as a heavy-duty mechanic, Joe tried retirement—but turns out, he’s better with wrenches than rocking chairs. He keeps our trucks in top shape and stays busy at his daughter’s coffee shop, fueling up on double shot lattes–which he needs to catch his grandson. If it moves, Joe’s probably fixing it.
